Grandparents Sponsor Ice Cream Social
On Friday, May 9th, The Melrose Parent Guild held The Ice Cream Social with the help of grandparent support from the Engelbrecht and Santomero (Rosenblum) families. The evening was very well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Organizers reported the turnout to be over 100.
There were many ice cream flavors and Italian ice, along with every imaginable topping! The children loved making their own sundae creations. Parents enjoyed catching up and welcomed the families of some of the new children who will be attending Melrose next year. There were also craft activities to keep everyone entertained. Thanks to the “scoopers” and all of the volunteers for a wonderful evening!
