Isabella Vieira Places 2nd in International Dance Competition
Isabella Vieira, Grade 6, recently spent a week in Riesa, Germany, with the Seven Stars School of Performing Arts at a tap dance competition. Isabella performed as a solo and also in a duet. For her solo performance, she competed against 29 other dancers from 17 countries and performed to “Birdland.” Isabella placed 2nd and earned a Silver Medal. Another American competitor earned a Bronze! Isabella’s synchronized dance partner was Rachel Binney and they performed to “Straighten Up and Fly Right.” The competition included 25 pairs of dancers from the 19 countries around the world. Isabella and Rachel made it all the way to the finals and finished in 5th place! Well done and congratulations Isabella and Rachel!
